Neutrals From Summer To Fall

As you may have noticed, I'm usually quite a colorful girl.  But neutrals can sure pack a punch, if you do it right!  Today, I'm linking up with Caitlin over at Greater Than Rubies, to share how I remix, rewear and restyle my neutrals!  Get excited!  I'm finally transitioning into FALL!

I got this lace dress on clearance recently, and I know I will be able to wear it a million ways!  This is how I wore it for a get together I hosted on a warm, summer day!

The dress came with a cognac belt, so it was a no-brainer to throw on my cognac sandals.  And I had to add the pendant necklace to take things up a notch!

AND NOW.......  FALL!

This is how I was planning to wear my lace dress to church yesterday.  Unfortunately, my little girl was a bit under the weather this weekend, so we stayed home.  But I got dressed and took pictures anyway!

I really can't take any of the credit for this outfit.  I totally copied this pin, to the best of my ability!  And I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!  Maybe I'll wear it next Sunday!

Did you notice my NEW BOOTS?!  I had a coupon and $50 in rewards from GAP/Old Navy, so I took a chance and ordered these boots and this awesome cognac tote, and threw in this striped tee to get me up to $50.  I filled three holes in my closet for $4.21 out of my pocket!  

Fall Who?

For weeks now, bloggers everywhere have been talking about fall.  Some have been enjoying the cooler weather and fun wardrobe shift that comes with it.  Others, like myself, have been wondering if fall would ever come... We've had a few cooler days, but today, on September 18th, it is currently 84 degrees!!  I am definitely looking forward to wearing my boots and scarves again!

This outfit is actually from a few weeks ago, but I may as well be wearing it today. And I realize, it's really nothing special.  But it was simple and comfortable.  And totally me.

I've recently started wearing yellow gold jewelry.  I've always always always worn white gold, because I didn't think yellow gold looked good with my skin tone or something...  But some outfits just call for some yellow gold.  I wish I had a closeup shot of my earrings and necklace from this outfit, buuut I don't.  I got these gold heart earrings at New York & Company for $2.99!  I got them in silver, too.  :)  And my adorable XO necklace is from GroopDealz.  I get a lot of my accessories from GroopDealz, because they have cute stuff at great prices!  Go check them out!  If you follow this link, you can get $5 off an order of $20, and I'll earn $5, too!

Faceless

We spent last Saturday morning planting our garden.  It feels so good to have that done, and I can't wait to reap what we have sown!  After lunch I took a shower and got dressed, intending to go grocery shopping later in the afternoon.  Between this, that and the other thing, I never ended up making it to the store.  In fact, I never even got around to doing my hair and makeup!  I wanted to document my outfit, but since I didn't get my face put on, this is what you get...  Ha!

Looking at these pictures, I'm not a fan...  Oh well, like I said, I never made it out in public that day anyways! 

BUT, I do have to share, the t-shirt I'm wearing I just got on clearance for something like $6 I think.  And the sandals were 50% off, which is pretty sweet, since they are actually a current online-only item.  They must have been a return and just so happened to be in my size!  Yay Target!
